Essential Design (Pty) Ltd was established in 2025 with a clear purpose: to simplify and strengthen communication across closely connected design industries. With over 30 years of combined experience in architecture, interior design and fabrication - both locally and internationally - we have seen firsthand the challenges that arise when design intent is lost in translation.
Through our previous roles we observed a disconnect between designers and fabricators. This gap often led to misaligned expectations, compromised outcomes and frustration across the board.
Essential Design was born out of a desire to change that narrative. We aim to bridge the divide with clear, coordinated and technically sound design support that ensures every interest is aligned, every detail is understood and every vision is realized.
